Irelands pre-Christian heritage spans back across several millennia is dramatically embodied by stone carvings at ancient burial sites such as Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth and Loughcrew. For these crosses Martina has merged an iconic triskle motif from that ancient heritage with the more contemporary Christian symbol of the cross.
